Technology touches every aspect of venue management. How can technology be integrated throughout the venue to engage and manage, audiences and crew? How has technology changed the audiovisual production process? And what opportunities does this bring to enriching the audience experience? Extending the audience beyond the walls, with the venue serving as a broadcasting production for virtual audiences?
As well as ticket sales and onsite purchases, venues rely on bookings from producers, presenters and performers. How are they found and how is the relationship managed?
The panel exploring perspectives on venue tech includes a venue, an audiovisual specialist and a festival manager.
