#DIFhub18 Digital Careers Day

28 August 2018 at the DIF Hub

Join the audience at Curate Space, the Digital Innovation Festival Hub or watch online through the live stream. Register for both options for each session listed below.

A full day program of events focusing on Digital Careers has been curated as part of the DIF Hub program. Register for the specific sessions of interest, or make a day of it, and receive compliamentary coworking and collaboration at the DIF Hub.

Start your day with those driving digital innovation and tech entrepreneurship in Melbourne! Get tips on how to start up your startup, understand and apply the tools of everyday innovation, and gain the Do’s and Don’ts of pro pitching tips from those who have done it before.

At this event, learn you tips and tricks that you can implement immediately on your Facebook business page, the apps I use to make your life easier, what you need to do on your website homepage immediately, how to automate a webinar so its evergreen and I will take you through my Success Action Planner and show you how to plan your day so you use your time wisely and deliberately succeed each month in achieving your goals.

Students and Academics from the University or Swinburne and the University of Melbourne will be joined by Ally Watson from Code like a Girl and Karen Y Poh from Study Melbourne to discuss the opportunities that can be gained from work integrated learning and how our educational institutions are responding to the demand for innovation in the workplace.

This panel will engage the audience in a deep conversation about what actually is education innovation. Does innovation need to be technical? Can learning be disconnected from the social aspect? Is pedagogy still important? Where will AI fit into this equation? If education is the creation of knowledge, packaging that knowledge for others and then delivery, what does this mean for the learner.
